Wondering why is it always that only Fuji musician tag "Doctor" and "King" beside their name?

Nowadays, many Fuji musician we know have either doctor, commander or king tagged on their names and, I've been thinking of it "were they unaware Doctor is a professional tittle of a certain discipline?". Though, the definition may attract some other meaning, but yet, some of whom bares the doctor are still below student of learning in their various field of work.

Being doctor sometimes may involves either, to learn to become a physician (medical practitioner) from a university of learning, you may bagged it through academic research qualification and received PhD or Th.D. You may also be offered with honour through recognition for societal exceptional performance by a university or college. That's how authentic Doctorate works!

What are they really thinking? Are these people believing that the like of Late Sikiru Ayinde Barrister tagged the Doctor's tittle on his name by mere self chosen? That man deserved what he claimed as it was coffers to him by a worldly recognize University!

That title was in recognition of his musical prowess and achievements in the history of music. In 1985, at the age of 37, Alh. Sikiru Ayinde Barrister bagged the said Honorary Doctorate Degree from the City University in Los Angeles (CULA), consequent upon a chart busting album, The World "Aiye" which, he sang on Disney World in the year 1980.

His description of that Wonder Land, "Disney World" which is located in Orlando, USA, upon his visitation to that tourist centre was what credited him of that Doctorate tittle. The way he emphasize on it's mysteries gave unique lessons to humanity in which, to City University, beyond imagination and reasons behind establishment of that tourist center and also gave additional value to Disney World profile.

According to a record, his Album during that time raised awareness about economical and technological development of Disney to the world which, is a plus to their business benefit. The album was translated into English language then, presented to City University of Los Angeles (CULA).

Other deserved honours including and not limited him we're:
In 1986, during his first American musical tour, Doctor Sikiru Ayinde Barrister was presented with the honorary citizenship and Key to the City of Providence, USA. In 1988, he was also honored by the Kano Emirate as the Sarkin Waka (King of Music).

No wonder! He is the right authority to enthroned whoever he deem fit to carry on the tittle of kingship of music in Nigeria. His decision for honouring Saheed Osupa a King should not be contestested or be arguing upon if not that the arguer themselves has little or no ideas what good music is all about.

If every musician of nowadays in Nigeria could be gathered together and be instructed to form a reasonable and unheard music record from whatever physical going around in that venue without preparation, we all known that "Saridon P" will make significance efforts in coining the best music out of any circumstances. There's no iota of lie in it that King Saheed Osupa is the only musician whom has the same trait with that late King of Music "Alh. Sikiru Ayinde Barrister". He is a born-musician!

But, with whatever qualification given to KSO, that doesn't qualify him undeserved tittle like "Doctor", because, though, he may deserve it in his line of business, but he's yet to be officially recognized of thus either academic or social efforts made. Tagging Doctor behind names by either himself or other musician unofficially is nothing but a self-deceit and unawares of what their social perspection is.
