Where Were They, The Good TV Series Of Old Days In Africa?

Having need to change our social perspective of life is very much imperative and, it is requires the need to oversees the going in other societies where we ought or yearns to rake their knowledge.

There's no big deal in earning knowledge from the foreign customs once we have awareness of it that it couldn't aids our culture to better our society! But, there must also be an expected achievable returns in whatever alienic culture to be emulated, theres need for scrutinize of moral sense so as not to ruin the best of ours which other society might also be craving or seeking to entertained in their own lands.

Where were the TV shows of those day?
"Who Wants to Be A Millionaire"
"Guilder Ultimate Search"
"The African Pot" etc
Where goes the good TV programs that's teaches lessons, educating people, gives insight on touring, makes peoples rich, even exposes us inventions minutes, while some rewards people of displaying extraordinary talent in public shows?

Yeah! Some of these programs were not from here, but at least, they were programs suitable for all ages, sex, culture and whatever names you may wish to call it. Be you dad, mum, school children, young boys or girls and even the babysitter like me "the Lastborn". You can be a religion leader, learners, old or young, you will just have something out there to learn from. No limitation to age, sex, race or need for censorship, they were all programs to beat and good source for knowledge

In the first instance, I wonder why do they expounged a reasonable programs away from our television now replacing them with something uncultured? And, what brings about unethical programs like BBNaija? That's where I confused!

I'm just wondering why! What moral lesson, or education do we expect to achieve by ourselves, the younger generation or the coming ones by watching a program like BBNaija? Are they really contributing anything to this society? Of what reasons should we allow our children be watching two loverbird adults adoring, caresing and romances each others in a supposed rooms of that Big Brother's house?

Is it immoral dresses; enmity, argumentation; jealousy; indecency; intercourse; time wasteful; abusive discuss; curses; insult; insubordination; degradation; molestation; or physical assault on each others that we're just going to learn from or, why exactly is the essence of introducing such kind a programs into the views of a cultural valued nation like Nigeria? I'm just confusing!

Our leaders should do something about this. There are other good TV series that they can be introduce into Nigerian TV industry, the likes of American Talent, the Doctors, Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?, Strangest Weather on Earth,  Monsters Inside Me, How It’s Made, Dirty Jobs, Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown all series to beat. All these TV series can be adopted and coined into our local program, presenting it in our own ways, then get sponsor by our Government or rich people around here.

Our leaders should not continue be sleeping and still expecting a better society like dreams of foreign land. The people and leader out there were properly guided, conducts, just and reasonable in all sense. They are all ready to help their people! They should adopt the best of conduct and regulate the media sectors where necessary so as to change the way world views our nation as shit hole.
