How To Share MTN Data With Friends And Families

Do you know that, aside from Globalcom Nigeria, that largest telecommunication company with broadband extended to european, asia, eastern and western side of the World that introduced a better means of data sharing and gifting to the wider families and friends, also Mtn has introduced the same, where friends and families could be benefited from your mobile data subscription wherever they are in nigeria.

For further utilization of this development, kindly follow the steps below:

To register for MTN Data sharing facility, 

Simply Dial the USSD Code - *131*2*1# 

OR

Text a word message -  REG and send it to receipent number 131; you will receive a unique security PIN (Default PIN 0000)

You will then required to change the generated PIN with a new secure and personalized one which you can easily remembered. 

To do this:

Simply dial the USSD Code - *131*2*5# 

OR

Text a message "OLD_PIN NEW_PIN NEW_PIN" to "131", e.g Change 0000 1234 1234 to 131. Where 0000 is an old PIN and 1234 as your new requested PIN, but in two places with space with each.

After the changing of that PIN, you will required to add beneficiaries to your MTN shared Data Bundle account via USSD code or SMS:

 Dial - *131*2*2# 

OR

Text Add <MSISDN> <PIN> to 131. NOTE: You can add up to 5 beneficiaries, e.g 080573933.. 1234, and send it to 131. You can add from one to some limited numbers (not yet confirmed), but limited only to Mtn users

Once that you have done these, then you are good to go sharing data with your selected beneficiaries.

How can you send the data?

Simply dial -  *131*2*3#

OR

Send "Share <PIN>"  to 131
