How To Revived A Wet Phone

Getting ones smartphone or any electric gadgets into the liquid can be so frustrating while considering the fear of losing of information and the gadget itself.

Here's the little advice I have for you, that I believe can serves as First Aid for your dying phone.

1. Quickly, switch off the phone and remove the battery. NOTE: Please, don't ever try to switch on the wet phone, it could be too dangerous, please. Just keep it off until you sure knows there's no more water beneath the phone.

 2. Remove all peripherals from the device (e.g back cover, battery, SIM card, SD card, headphones etc, and case if you are certified to do so). NOTE: You may not be able to do some of these by yourself since you are not a Phone Doctor, but at lease you should know how to switch off the phone, remove the batter (where applicable), remove the SIM and Memory Card, just try to make use of that opportunity in retaining it's life.

3.Use a vacuum to blow out the device, so you may get as much water out as possible. Note: That's not the guarantee of phone reviving but just for temporary draining of the water that may be physically seen in the phone's panel, as hidden liquid may not be reached within the board's components with just the blowing of phone.

 4. Using of a special highly affinity substance like those volatile and ardour liquid for warming and drawing out of certain degree of wetness in the device. Or Alternatively, placing the phone on a bowl or bag of uncooked rice or desiccant (usually found in a new shoes) for at least 24hrs or just cover the phone in a towels, may also do it.

But Note: If you could not perform any of the above aforelisted method by yourself. Then, you must at least try and switch off the phone first, if yet not die by itself, and make sure you take it down to the phone repairer in-no-time wasted and no matter how, since you are too sure there's water that reached the phone. So, it is highly advisable not to be negligence or try to be managing the phone simply because it is still working perfectly after when the water has entered it, it could lead to data lost and/or shorting of it lifespan.
