STEP BY STEP TO EXTRACT ALOE VERA OIL

Here's step-by-step guide on how to extract Aloe Vera oil for home or future use.

  1. 1. Prepare the aloe vera leaves:
    Start by washing the aloe vera leaves thoroughly. Carefully remove the thorny edges with a knife. You can either scoop out the gel or chop the leaves into smaller pieces. 
  2. 2. Choose and prepare your carrier oil:
    Select a carrier oil like coconut or olive oil. Heat the oil in a pan over low heat. 
  3. 3. Infuse the oil:
    Add the prepared aloe vera to the heated oil. Keep the heat low to prevent splattering due to the gel content. Infuse for about 8-10 minutes, or until the aloe vera starts to brown. 
  4. 4. Strain the oil:
    Once cooled slightly, strain the oil using a fine-mesh strainer or cheesecloth to remove the aloe vera solids. 
  5. 5. Store the oil:
    Allow the strained oil to cool completely before transferring it to a clean, airtight container for storage.
