OYO NULGE UNION ORDERED WORKERS TO BOYCOTT WORK - THE REASONS AND THE CONSTRUED YET TO UNDERSTAND BY MANY

"How do you mean brother? You should have seek that knowledge of why such an action were taken before condemnation and faulting the worker's leader"

This is my usual response while reading negative comment on instruction given by the Nigerian Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) leaders, of Oyo State Chapter.

While reading through some comments from the social media platforms, I was surprised reading people's inputs, where they were abusing the worker's Union on why must they instructs the workers to abstain from office? Why do they biased, when it's comes to issue of returning back to office by the sacked political office holders?

Where two elephants were contending or combating, there's no iota of lie in it, that the minions plants amidst there were prone to brutality or sufferness if not completely periled.

The incidence of the past was what leads the worker to the present proactive or preventive measures on their co-workers. The way by which some politician handled the issue sometimes ago was so outrageous.  In some Local Governments, the  workers were brutally beaten by politician to the state of coma, and we would never allow such to ever repeat itself.

Workers has neither enemy nor permanent friend among the politician. We work only with whomsoever that's lawfully placed or presently by the general public and once, they will become our masters.

But, in a situation whereby our people's life is at stake or danger of been been getting killed in the act of serving the civil cause, the Union is there to take precautionary measures to safeguard such situation that may lead to risking/wasting of worker's life and/or government properties, which staying away from office is believes to be enough what we can do until the issue at hand is amicably settled between the grudges members. The best option Best or usual weapon we uses during every engagement.

We neither in contra to or in support of anyone or a particular political party, we are "AGIP", we are ready to work as administrator with anyone from any political linage. We are human being, whom blood is flowing beneath their veins.

Though, we may be working with government as civil servant, but that doesn't classify us to be slaves, no, we are not in abject, we are fathers, mothers to some children, we are brothers and sisters to some siblings, and we are children and parents to some family members like you.

This is how we always doing it while seeking for freedom and wellness for our workforce at the time. The same way we jointly agitated to brings in political autonomy, administrative autonomy and financial autonomy for the Local Government which is presently successful.

We should be aware, and be informed, that all these things we did would neither brings undue promotion, monetary benefit, or personal life enhancement to the workers, but it would only be beneficial to the general public and serve the betterment of humanity at large.

This is a call to service in which, we also urge the general public to give support to. Our lives are in danger, we don't need discouragement, all we need as the general public representatives is understanding of the going in the State.

We want you to talk to your people (the politicians) and, to choose a round table discussion rather than waging war again us the helpless workers. If our life could be placed in danger, there's no such compensation that could be worthy enough to replace our bloods or that can pleases the heart of our lovely wives, husbands, children and parents.

Please, we need you to understand this.
