An Unfair Comparision: Shina Peters VS Jim Ovia

As for easy going guy like me, whose lives has being a great lesson for many to learnt from, if vividly you can studied and redigest his simple ways of life. Let's to speaks little about myself.
I am somebody who "don't believes in how much more money you earn from certain investment, but rather, how and what impacted is it to you and the humanity in general". That's simply who I am! And that's why I don't really care to look upon upon people or riches before I can live me life. My perspective may be vary, maybe because I usually sees things from the deeper aspects.

According to that article which falsely comparing people of uncommon attributes, such as ideas, opinions, experience, orientation, perspective, understanding, background, resource etc, and expects to positively have the same result, while laying blame on one for being imperfections or not smart enough in his endeavours.

The last line of advice in that article is actually really makes a good sense (as in, "to spend the little money you have wisely...."), but unfortunately, the rest aspects of that write up especially in the area of comparison has made bluffed of the entire article, even to the extent of becoming unreasonable.

What the writer don't know is that, it is not only on monetary gain that we can consider business a successful one, there are many forms of investments that are not meant for financial profit making purpose. So also, we'd severally witnesses many well formed and funded businesses that are eventually failed and unfavourable. Anything that is mainly for self satisfaction does not necessaryly needs to attract financial benefit as income, it could be something else.

Why do I say this? We, in this platform (Lastbosoft) had personally gone through the true life stories and events of those two icons, first, a Juju Musician, Sir Shina Peters and the other, a Banker, Mr. Jim Ovia, (Founder of Zenith Bank in Nigeria). This two people we're expended some huge amount of money on an individual interesting projects, with different goals and expected results which seemingly successful and served the purpose by which these individual men intend it to serves.

Thanks for the internet of things and the evolvement of the ICT for the easy access of real data without anything compromising of issues during this research. The article, (Click Here: SHINA PETERS VS JIM OVIA) had been spreading all over the internet and also had been severally faulted throughout the social media whenever there's need for debate of its stand, and at end, it has been unanimously resolved as been nonsensical and clueless, if comparing the duo to be same any author no matter how smart they are.

Reasons for this is that, it is never a news that, in Nigeria of yesterday, being a musician simply signifies one to be recognized as corporate begger. So also applicable to the likes of Sat. Shina Peter who also was not excluded as same if remember the trends in town during 80s. But with him and some others intelligent young musicians in that industry, they eventually changed the face of thing in the music arena, and he was one of those whom to be applaud for the reveals of the true face of what music is all about in Nigeria as we can see it of today. People were actually adored him and they're ready to hear more and more of his plays. Of course, it was a development worthy of paying for!

Meanwhile, it is also undoubtful, the believe in everywhere all over the world, that musicians/celebrities can appreciates their fans through his/her physical lifestyles and materialism of fancy usage of things. You see, in a world where Pastors who cruises in or get a private Jet are majorly believed to be more closer to God than those who has non to flys.

As of this, the well being of every celebrities is generally notifies through their wealth, expensive and elegance way of their lives. Chanting of their names alone by world is enough what the fans derives their happiness from, they sees the successful celebrity as the handwork of them, and they really urge to do more in promoting him at all cost. If he's might, that's just what brings happiness to their heart, it would feel pleases, and they would be loved to had more and more to buy him rare fames.

So, for Shina Peters to construct an expensive mansion, with amount tune of N20m, he's doing the right thing that help his status. Aside from that he spent the money on what is the most important to human lives, as in shelter to rest ones head. This property will also serves as a mean of earning him more fame, more fans, respects, security, income, safety, self reliance, and long lasting physical and durable asset. With addition of uniqueness in it, landing or building properties of nowadays are no longer lacks depreciation as economically believes, the more socially advanced the world arises, the more appreciated or valuable the properties becomes.

Depends on location, no matter how much you bought a piece of land in the last ten years, there's higher probability of rising cost of price to justify either depreciation or appreciation in it if reevaluate its likely worth in the present time. Nowadays, beautiful home is one of the most valuable assets that celebrities all over the world are frequently investing on and that's what fans also believes to be proud of on them, they used to proud of it as if they own it themselves. "That's our house" they will arrogantly proud of it in public.

In the part of Mr. Jim Ovia, he had already being confirmed a house owner, which simply mean that housing his family members is nothing more a thing of thinking. He had already has a beautiful house before he actually thinking of investing in the banking system.

He has being richly evolved for so many years ahead thinking of diversification or establishing of own businesses, even when Shina Peters was still following some musicians around as band boy.

He is already a trained business inventor, studied at the best known international universities for his first and second degrees in the Southern University, Louisiana (1977), and the University of Louisiana, 1979 both in the Unite State of America. Also, an Alumnus of Harvard Business School (OPM). What a fully formed investor!

Excuse me please, this alone simply mean that Jim Ovia was born and have a family whose monetary issues is never anything to be concerns with in anyway, and studies is also a thing of ease to the likes of him to any length if eager for more. He's business oriented fellow from his earlier age.

In view of the aforesaid facts and profiles of the duo, I would rather always ready for disputes of thatsoever comparison of those men of uncommon or differ in characters, circumstance, background, reasons, orientation, diverge in thinking and in views or expression.

How can it be reasonable, comparing those whose immediate need is nothing but feeding the members of his families with somebody whose opening a restaurant for commercial purposes is all he's planning of. This is nonsensical of highest order. The expected results should never be same in any reason or else if we intentionally want to be biased or unreasonably rude to someone who is probably seems to be less privileged or financially unfavoured. We cannot because he expend the money on the most needful things now concluded that he lacks business knowledge.

We can never even judge that it is unprofitable of the first who embarked on building construction, now regards him to be nonentity for dabbled into financial unprofitable project. This project was particularly constructed for the purpose of self enjoyment which has been benefiting since then till now. Plus the addition of attracting more respect, fans, income, fame etc. While also the same applicable to the second who investing same amount on solely profitable reasons and invited more like mind business oriented people to partners in business.

Talking about the benefactors from what the duo contributed to the society. The author also discussed about the benefit offered to the patronage of their services, both to either individual or organizational developments. He discussed much of banking, while neglecting the great impacts of messages disseminated through music to both customers, workers, lovers, interested and uninterested bye passers in the society, he neglected the impact of it in the opening area of self reliance, self employment opportunities, information dissemination, and creativity ideology showcase.

Below are little of where he failed to mentioned:
* How many of people that had getting into the music industry with ease and less finance?
- How many people can afford establishing own bank and get it operating without restrictions?

* How many tracks of musics that has been useful for people and would be consistently do?
- How many banks or investment that has been liquidated and shall never rise again?

* How many of people that had became professional in the field of music practices, learning it in the universities all over the world?
- How many more of whom that studied Banking and Finance in the University but today no long being recognised as best to handle banking services?

* How many people that had being medically saved just by hearing or humming to the sounds of music?
- How many can be benefited or saved from hearing those huge amount of money kept in the bank that makes no impacts to human lives?

* How much more people that's not involves in music but can benefits from it around the world.
- How many people that's not opening Account in the banks can freely enjoying the benefit of it?

* How many of people that has gained positive changes of life through following the instructions given in the music?
- How many people that has no access at all to the bank since non of them are yet to get their branches to the reach of every angles of the world, etc, etc

Yes, the advice given is good and perfect, but yet we should not underestimate the reasonable fact of "NEEDFUL" and "WANTING" in the comparison of any problem that's calls for true research.

Thank for reading and vast understanding of this eexpression.
