YAHOO! The Rise And Fall Of A Giant Internet Pioneer

What an end story of one of the famous Pioneers of the early Internet era. Yet another falling of big company among the earliest platform, whose founded with aims at benefiting the humanity.

The Earlier History of Yahoo
Yahoo was founded by these great two graduated electrical engineering students of the Stanford University in 1994. Jerry Yang and David Filo, while soughing for what to do as a means of living, the duo ends up in creating of a new world where many people are expected to be gathering together for conversation and knowledge sharing purposes. A website we know today was initially created under the name "Jerry and David's Guide to the World Wide Web" by which was later renamed in the year 2005 to "YAHOO" (abbreviation from "Yet Another Hierarchically Organized Oracle") or ("Yet Another Hierarchical Officious Oracle"). Its domain was created on January 18, 1995.

So, David and Jerry was concluded to be managing this little online platform which later become multifunctional investment just to easing the information sharing among the interested members, especially, on electronic mailing, search, news, sports and many more. Yahoo that become a king today in the Internet arena was gained its reputation through useful and highly innovative nature that it was possessed. But unfortunately, recently, everything is now becoming so unfavourable for this giant company and part of activities is now being given out on sales for another giant but telecommunication company.

Don't forget that Yahoo as we all know has initially once worthy of $125 billion, such as big in might as Google and Facebook of today. But with emergence of technological advancement amidst their business rivalry, many other related companies had evolved but with much beneficial offers in nature, that dives away many prospective users (customers) to sough for a more friendly, profitable, durable, easy or usability mean which eventually results in lag in the part of Yahoo company. When Yahoo realized this, and acknowledge their inability to cope or meet up with the latest threads competitively, they concluded in ending up the written of the so long pioneership history of their earlier Internet phenomenon.

What Would Be The Next Line Of Action For Yahoo To Remain Live
Upon acquisition of huge portion of Yahoo by that famous telecommunication company, the Verizon Inc. Since it is no more a news that Yahoo has sold off it's core Internet business to this great company for as little as just $4.8 Billion. A company that has once been valued at over $100 billion before. Though, that is apart, there may be depreciation in value of the company at present. Meanwhile, there are other portions remain for Yahoo to still maintain its status anyway, but losing away of their beautiful name is what make the jaw down. And to worsen the situation, the most recognizable leaders and brand are all laid off since the businesses would for now be no more as usual.

So sadden, Yahoo is now already adopted a new name "Altaba Inc." which would end the long history of that magical name "Yahoo", with this latest development, Altaba would be hanging on operation with just 15% stakes at Alibaba Group and the little stakes remain in Yahoo Japan, such a little 35.5% stakes is what left to be managing under the name Altaba, which is also a joint venture with Softbank. OMG!

Farewell anyway, my dearly "YAHOO" (www.yahoo.com)
And welcome "ALTABA" likely to be changed to (altaba.com)
